Google Tag Manager should be installed on your site before you follow this guide. If you don't have Google Tag Manager installed yet you can find out how in the Google Tag Manager support article about installing it.

This guide outlines how to add Cymatic via Google Tag Manager using Google's Custom HTML Tag.

Within Cymatic Admin UI

As site or company admin or owner, sign into the Cymatic admin console
Choose the appropriate site you'd like to deploy via GTM
On the left-hand menu bar, choose 'Settings'
Under 'General', choose 'SDK Snippet'
Copy the Cymatic snippet to your clipboard.

Within Google Tag Manager UI

Sign into GTM as your site's admin
Choose the appropriate account
Within your 'Workspace' tab, choose 'Tags' on the left-hand menu bar or choose 'Add a new tag' from the dashboard tag widget.
Under 'Tag Configuration', click on the highlighted box where it says 'Choose a tag type to begin setup...'
A dialog box will appear on the right. Select 'Custom HTML' from the list.
Paste the code from your clipboard that you previously copied from Cymatic in the text field.
Click 'Choose a trigger to make this tag fire...' under 'Triggering'
Select 'Initialization - All Pages'

It is very important that you choose this trigger and this trigger only. If you choose any other trigger, Cymatic will not function properly.
Name your tag and then click 'Save'
Click 'Submit' on the upper-right corner to submit your changes to your workspace.
Make sure your live environment is selected and click 'Publish'

That's it! Make sure that Cymatic is now loaded by GTM by browsing to your site and viewing the page source or logging into your Cymatic Admin UI and seeing if traffic appears under 'Activity Logs' in the left-hand menu bar. Please make sure you re-load the webpage to ensure GTM loads the changes.
